Irish Grain & Feed Association Dinner

CFE attended the Irish Grain & Feed (IGFA) Association Dinner in January. The IGFA represents the majority of compound feed manufacturers in Ireland. Collectively they produce approximately 4.3 millon tonnes of animal feed. IGFA is a member of The European Feed Manufacturers’ Federation (FEFAC). FEFAC membership today consists of national associations from EU Member States as full members and of an increasing number of observer members from non-EU countries. FEFAC is the only independent spokesman of the European Compound Feed Industry at the level of the European Institutions. FEFAC holds observer status in CODEX Alimentarius.

The dinner was attend by members of the CFE team and guests from Dan O’Connor Feeds, A.N. Irwins, Moy Park, United Feeds, Aurivo, Fane Valley Feeds, John Thompson, Drinagh Co-op, Carrs Billington & Duffield Animal Feeds.  The industry was well represented at this years dinner which was an enjoyable dinner and fantastic networking event.
